2021 Mr. Olympia Men’s 212 Bodybuilding Results and Prize Money

Derek Lunsford has won the 212 Olympia, at the 2021 Olympia, held October 7th-10th, in Orlando Florida. This came at the end of a close competition, with now-former champ Shaun Clarida coming in second, and Kamal Elgargni placing third.

The 212 Olympia took place with a heavy heart, as did the rest of the Olympia weekend. It was hard to ignore the elephant in the room, which was that 212 competitor George Peterson had passed away on Wednesday, just days before the contest took place.

Nevertheless, the rest of the 18 athletes still took to the stage with the hopes to dethrone champ Shaun Clarida, and win the title, while the so-called “Little Ronnie Coleman” tried to earn his first title defense. In the end, it was Derek Lunsford who emerged victorious, winning his first ever 212 Olympia title after years of being close to the top, and beating out the rest of the lineup.

However it was nowhere near a clean sweep for the champ, who had to take out a slew of tight competition. He had to work hard to get past the now former champ Shaun Clarida, who found himself in the second place position by the end of the contest, as well as former champ Kamal Elgargni who landed in third place.
