Francielle Mattos is the new Wellness Olympia 2021 champion. Since she is the first of her name, her physique will go down as the gold standard in Wellness division history.
There was a lot of excitement around the Wellness division as it was making its Olympia debut. We have to add – each Wellness Olympia 2021 athlete looked drop-dead gorgeous. We can bet that Wellness will be one of the most popular divisions in the sport.
Wellness division focuses on musculature, symmetry, proportions, and overall appearance. According to NPC News Online, the Wellness Division is “for females with athletic physiques that showcase more body mass in the hips, glutes, and thigh areas.”
We would not be surprised if someone told us that Mr. Olympia 2021 PPV viewership spiked when the Wellness ladies graced the stage.
20 Wellness athletes competed for the Wellness Olympia 2021 throne, and it came down to Isabelle Nunes, Yarishna Ayala, Angela Borges, and Francielle Mattos in the pre-judging final callouts. Interestingly, of the four athletes, three are from Brazil.
Also, of the four pre-judging callout finalists, the three Brazilians were wearing identical red posing suits. We have never seen something like this before. The judges were feeling the color red yesterday, maybe?

Wellness Olympia 2021 Winners
Here are the final Wellness Olympia 2021 standings:
1. Francielle Mattos
Francielle Mattos brought a complete package. One look at her, and you knew she was winning the contest without much struggle. Mattos won the Overall Arnold Ohio in 2020 and Miss Olympia Brazil in 2019.
2. Angela Borges
Angela was the first wellness competitor to qualify for Olympia 2021. She earned her pro card at Jim Manion’s IFBB Pro League Pittsburg Pro in Pennsylvania. Her washboard abs could put many Hollywood A-listers to shame.
