The 2022 AMP Classic Open Nationals contest took place from March 01-03, in Austin, Texas. The competition gathered some of the world’s greatest athletes, but Jonathan Cayco had the most notable performance. Cayco won the raw 93 kg weight class by a significant margin, claimed two American Records, and unofficially beat two IPF World Records.

Following impressive performances in all three events, Jonathan Cayco totaled 888 kg (1957.5 lbs). This is better than the current 873 kg (1924.6 lbs) IPF World Record Total, which was also set by  Cayco at the 2021 IPF World Classic Powerlifting Championships.
