The 2021 World’s Strongest Man, running from June 15th-20th, continued on today, with Day Three of qualifications, in Sacramento, California. This is a breakdown of all of the action, and who will advance to the Finals.

Day Three of the 2021 WSM was the last day of the qualifying rounds, before the top ten athletes advance to the Finals. It was made up of two events, the Overhead Medley and Pickaxe Hold, with the second and third place athletes in each group facing off in the Atlas Stone Off.

The top scoring athlete in each group advanced to the two-day Finals. Additionally, the winner of each Stone Off will join them to determine who the strongest man in the world is.

There have been several withdrawals from the contest, beginning with Graham Hicks being replaced by Ervin Toots before the contest. Day One saw Luke Richardson and Terry Hollands suffer bicep injuries leading to their removal, and Day Two resulted in Chris van der Linde’s withdrawal too.

While the contest will not be available to watch the 2021 World’s Strongest Man until later in the year, there is a special, Behind-The-Scenes programming available through the WSM official Facebook page.

Below are the current results and standing from the third day of the contest. They are subject to change as the official results are revealed.
